Main Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a QA organization (manual and automation), ensuring wellbeing, performance, and alignment with Saily’s future QA model.
• Scale the QA function through hiring and onboarding to support 12-20 engineering teams and maximize delivery velocity.
• Own QA capacity planning and cross-team coordination, enabling load balancing and effective collaboration across teams.
• Drive QA practice transformation toward T-shaped engineers.
• Define and execute the automation strategy, achieving ~80% coverage of critical end-to-end flows across BE, FE, and mobile.
• Collaborate with software engineers and introduce shift left practices that involve them more into the testing process.
• Partner closely with Engineering Leadership on process improvements and organizational initiatives, including taking ownership of non-QA work where needed.

Core Requirements

• Previous experience managing a team of QA Engineers.
• Solid background in hands-on QA Engineering, bonus points if done in both mobile and web environment.
• Knowledge of QA best practices and modern trends/technologies.
• Openness to collaborate and mentor team members, while also sharing practical knowledge and trends;
• Team-spirited, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Ability to come up with cross-platform solutions together with the team in a timely manner;
• Proactiveness in constantly developing innovative solutions while tracking the teams' metrics;

Salary Range

• Gross salary 5,200 - 6,800 EUR/month
