Our Legal Department is a dynamic team of professionals that covers the full range of challenges associated with building and scaling global software products, from data and intellectual property protection to regulatory compliance, contract development, policy creation, and dispute resolution. As true business partners, we meet our stakeholders where they are, helping them navigate legal risks and enable innovation as they design, launch, and evolve our products.

Role Overview
As a Product Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support for one of Nord Security’s most prominent products - Saily. You will collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams to help identify and mitigate legal risks associated with product development and market entry. You will report to the Product’s Legal Partner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build a strong understanding of product functionalities and upcoming initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to product and marketing teams, providing pragmatic, risk-based legal advice on telecommunications, fintech, consumer protection, privacy, and broader technology law matters;
  • Support the development and launch of new product features by identifying applicable regulations, ensuring compliance, reviewing user interface designs and data flows, recommending mitigations for legal risks, and proposing updates to terms of service and privacy documentation;
  • Lead the integration of new product features from a legal standpoint, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to provide clear, timely guidance from concept through launch while meeting all key deadlines. 
  • Negotiate agreements with key technology partners supporting core product functionalities;
  • Handle product-related disputes and claims in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders;
  • Stay informed about regulatory shifts, app store updates, market developments, and communicate significant risks and opportunities to the product team;
  • Act as a liaison between product teams and the Legal Department, developing efficient processes to streamline cooperation and reduce routine legal involvement.

Core Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law;
  • 3+ years of relevant legal experience, including in-house exposure; experience in the tech sector is a plus;
  • Solid knowledge base in the TMT field, with a good understanding or readiness to develop expertise in digital and cybersecurity regulations (e.g., EECC, RLaH, PSD2, EMD2, GDPR, DSA, NIS2 frameworks);
  • Experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial and technology-related high-value contracts;
  • Additional experience in consumer protection, electronic communications, intellectual property, or AI regulation is an advantage;
  • Excellent judgment, legal project management, and practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance legal risks against business needs;
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple product launches running in parallel;
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly, build trust-based relationships, and foster effective collaboration between legal and product teams;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal English;
  • Genuine interest in technology and innovation, with curiosity to understand how digital products work.

Salary Range:

  • Gross Salary: 2200-5200 EUR/Month.
