We’re seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to take a lead role in managing and optimizing our corporate income tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This position is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys diving into complex tax calculations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting global tax strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external advisors to maintain full compliance and drive continuous improvement in our tax processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Take ownership of corporate income tax (CIT) compliance, including preparation and review of tax calculations, returns, and supporting documentation for multiple entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax provisions and deferred tax calculations as part of quarter-end and year-end closing.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on local tax filings, audits, and compliance matters.
- Review and maintain CIT-related balance sheet accounts, ensuring proper reconciliation and documentation.
- Support tax reporting and disclosures for group financial statements under IFRS/local GAAP.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes related to corporate income tax, assess their impact, and help implement required adjustments.
- Contribute to transfer pricing compliance, documentation, and intercompany transaction analysis.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure tax efficiency and compliance across business processes.
- Oversee group-wide CIT monitoring through ETR and other controls.
- Assist with indirect tax compliance (VAT/GST or U.S. Sales Tax) where relevant.
Core Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred).
- At least 4 years of experience in corporate income tax accounting and compliance, ideally in an international or group structure.
- Strong understanding of tax provisions, deferred tax, and local/international tax reporting requirements.
- Experience in transfer pricing and tax audit management is a plus.
- Excellent command of Excel.
- Solid communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary Range
- Gross Salary 3600-4600 EUR/Month.
