Your impact? Helping people stay securely connected, wherever they go.

Join Saily as a UX writer and help us build exceptionally user-friendly tools for travelers all around the world!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the experience of crafting copy for digital products, with a particular focus on app content - our users are primarily on mobile. You’ll be someone who can work on several projects simultaneously and bring your UX writing perspective and expertise to the table each time.

You’ll work closely with designers, product owners, and the communications team to come up with user-friendly, clear, and compelling copy flows. You’ll be comfortable simplifying complex terminology and writing in an easy-to-understand and informal tone.

You’ll be part of the product team, but will work closely with the Saily copywriting team to make sure your writing aligns with the brand’s tone of voice and helps all teams maintain cohesive messaging on every platform.

Main Responsibilities

  • Write clear, consistent, concise user-interface content.
  • Work with the communications team to develop product names and narratives for early stage products (e.g., tests).
  • Work closely with product designers, product owners, and developers to understand user needs and product goals.
  • Regularly work with the Saily copywriting team to ensure product copy remains consistent with the brand’s tone of voice.
  • Participate in usability testing to assess the effectiveness of the content and make necessary adjustments.
  • Use data and research to evaluate content’s impact.
  • Look at messaging through a global lens to deliver experiences for different markets.
  • Keep detailed content documentation and guidelines to support the team and ensure consistency across all products.
  • Help define a clear and repeatable process for how others can work with UX writing.

Core Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a UX writer or similar role, within a digital product environment (particularly mobile apps).
  • Native-level written and spoken English. Saily uses an informal, conversational tone (not textbook English), so spoken fluency really matters.
  • Strong writing skills with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and user-centered design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
  • Some experience in conducting user research and applying insights to improve content strategy.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to explain and defend your copy decisions - especially to teammates who may not have a UX writing background.
  • Bonus: Interest in eSIM technology and travel.
  • Please provide a portfolio (in English) that showcases a range of content you’ve created, such as interaction flows, emails, product tours, educational materials, and style guides.
