Main Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the design, development, deployment, and operations of the solutions/features your squad engineers develop;
  • Team enablement; ensure that your team is setup to succeed. Set clear direction and expectations and proactively eliminate roadblocks;
  • Lead and grow Engineering squad of 8 to 10 specialists, providing guidance, mentorship and help them grow (evaluate performance, create personal development plans, track progress, and coach them along the way);
  • Lead sprint planning and squad velocity tracking activities to ensure that product milestones are met;
  • Develop and execute plans using agile development methodologies;
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional squads;
  • Discuss business solutions with stakeholders and other engineers, propose alternatives, or validate existing solutions;
  • Contribute to new talent hiring and ensure that employee lifecycle is fully covered (hiring, onboarding, growth, off boarding);
  • Closely collaborate with Product Owners to meet the tight deadlines and budget

Core Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience leading a team of software engineers;
  • Solid software development background, and either experience or a desire to develop an understanding of mobile applications domain. You’re not expected to write the code, but you’ll need to understand the logic of the system; 
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;
  • Openness to collaborate and mentor team members, while also sharing practical knowledge and trends;
  • Team-spirited, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Ability to come up with cross-platform solutions together with the team in a timely manner;
  • Proactiveness in constantly developing innovative solutions while tracking the teams' metrics;

Salary Range

  • Gross Salary 5000 - 7125 EUR/Month
