Main Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Lead and grow a team of SREs, fostering a culture of ownership, learning and psychological safety;
- Reliability Strategy: Drive the strategy for improving the availability, performance and efficiency of services;
- Cross-team collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and security teams;
- Enablement & Tooling: Introduce tools, automation and internal platforms that reduce operational toil and enhance engineer productivity;
- Process Improvement: Champion best practices in operational excellence, including SLOs, error budgets, incident reviews and deployment planning;
- Incident Management: Oversee response and follow-up of major incidents, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions;
- Execution Ownership: Ensure team roadmaps are clear, aligned with business objectives, and delivered with high quality and predictability;
- Mentorship & Growth: Foster an environment where engineers are challenged, supported, and provided opportunities to grow in their careers.
Core Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of engineering management experience, ideally leading SRE, platform, or infrastructure teams;
- Technical Depth: Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and networking fundamentals;
- Operational Excellence: Deep familiarity with SRE concepts such as SLIs/SLOs, observability, incident response, and chaos engineering;
- Execution Leadership: Proven ability to drive initiatives from concept through execution in an agile environment;
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable aligning stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains;
- Team Development: Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineering talent;
- Process-Driven: Experience establishing and improving engineering processes.
Salary Range
- Gross monthly salary from 5000-8100EUR
