The Web team builds and operates NordLayer’s marketing website - a server‑side rendered Next.js application connected with a headless CMS. We partner closely with Marketing and Content teams to ship fast, accessible, and responsive experiences that tell our story and convert. Performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals are first‑class metrics for us and inform every decision we make.

We’re a driven, collaborative engineering group that values ownership, curiosity, and pragmatic excellence. We plan together, swarm on tough problems, and ship iteratively. You’ll have autonomy to own features end‑to‑end, with a supportive team for reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. Senior engineers set technical direction and mentor others; mid‑level engineers grow quickly through scoped ownership, clear feedback loops, and opportunities to lead projects.

Main Responsibilities

Manual testing of a marketing website.
Ensure cross-browser/device/responsive quality, perform accessibility (WCAG) checks and visual QA to design/brand.
Participate in the entire testing lifecycle (requirements for testing, preparing test cases, performing functional testing, and non-functional testing).
Analyze found bugs during tests and prepare recommendations for process improvements in order to avoid similar cases.
Take ownership of quality improvement strategy development and implementation.
Ensure that the changes are at a high-quality level for deployment.

Core Requirements

2+ years experience in manual software testing.
Advanced knowledge of test design and a variety of testing techniques.
Strategic thinking and the ability to see the bigger picture of the whole product from a business perspective and processes.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work hand in hand and effectively communicate with the team.
Good written and spoken English skills.
