Our Threat Intelligence team is dedicated to providing accurate and timely information on potential threats to our products. Our team of skilled professionals from various fields, including Data Science, Malware Research, Development, and Privacy, are focused on achieving a common goal by utilizing feeds, heuristics, algorithms, and machine learning.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the Threat Intelligence Research team and represent its work in strategic initiatives;
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring a positive and productive environment;
  • Define team strategy and align goals with organizational objectives;
  • Plan and evaluate quarterly and sprint outcomes with leadership peers;
  • Provide know-how on threat vectors and protection strategies for NordVPN users;
  • Collaborate with Marketing to provide insights on cybersecurity news and trends;
  • Suggest tools and processes to enhance the efficiency of malware researchers and data scientists;
  • Contribute to shaping the Threat Protection product.

Core Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and building teams in the cybersecurity field;
  • Deep understanding of Threat Intelligence processes and sources;
  • Passion for cybersecurity and awareness of industry trends and threats;
  • Ability to articulate opinions on emerging threats and industry news;
  • Bonus: Experience applying machine learning in threat protection.

Salary Range

  • Gross Salary 5200 - 7000 EUR/Month.
