Main Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design, development, deployment, and operations of the solutions/features your team engineers develop;
• Team enablement; ensure that your team is set up to succeed. Set clear direction and expectations and proactively eliminate roadblocks;
• Lead and grow an Engineering squad of 4 to 8 specialists, providing guidance, and mentorship helping them grow (evaluate performance, create personal development plans, track progress, and coach them along the way);
• Lead sprint planning and squad velocity tracking activities to ensure that product milestones are met;
• Develop and execute plans using agile development methodologies;
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams;
• Discuss business solutions with stakeholders and other engineers, propose alternatives, or validate existing solutions;
• Contribute to new talent hiring and ensure that employee lifecycle is fully covered (hiring, onboarding, growth, offboarding);

Core Requirements

• At least 2 years experience leading a team of software engineers;
• Solid software development background, and either experience or a desire to develop an understanding of a data gathering and distribution domain. The team is solving complex technical challenges of data gathering, normalization, and distribution for analysis. You’re not expected to write the code, but you’ll need to understand the logic of the system; 
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;
• Openness to collaborate and mentor team members, while also sharing practical knowledge and trends;
• Team-spirited, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment;

Salary Range

• Gross Salary  30400 - 39600 PLN/Month.
