Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners and resolve any AP issues as needed.
- Arrange timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes for the AP department.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance and successful audit outcomes.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in the AP function.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of AP accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Guide training and support team’s growth through internal and external learning and development tools.
- Encourage team engagement and ensure AP department’s involvement in key projects and activities.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in accounts payable management.
Core Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable or related finance roles, with at least 2+ years in a managerial capacity leading multilevel teams.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, systems, and best practices.
- Proven track record of setting up processes and implementing new initiatives in complex organizational environments.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
Salary Range
- Gross salary 4000-5790 eur/Month
