Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs Project Manager
At Nord Security, we’re creating a safer cyber future.
We help people and businesses take back control of their online security, privacy, and data. From VPNs to password managers, threat intelligence to eSIMs for travel—our teams turn complex problems into solutions trusted by millions worldwide.
Life is online. In this role, you’ll help people own it.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to join Nord Security's growing Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs team. This is a cross-cutting role that sits at the heart of the team's operations: you will keep complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams on track, ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and free up senior team members to focus on substance. In practice, you will function as a chief of staff for the team — owning the operating rhythm, driving accountability, and ensuring the team is always prepared and coordinated.
Main Responsibilities
Project & workstream management: Own the team's project tracker; maintain a clear picture of all active workstreams, deadlines, and dependencies. Proactively flag risks and bottlenecks before they become problems.
Follow-up & accountability: Chase action items across the team and with stakeholders (inside the company and externally). Ensure commitments made in meetings are captured, assigned, and followed through.
Planning & documentation: Draft and maintain planning documents, agendas, briefing notes, run-of-show documents, and meeting summaries. Keep shared resources organised and up to date.
Meeting & event coordination: Prepare materials ahead of meetings with external stakeholders. Coordinate logistics for events, visits, and roundtables.
Stakeholder tracking: Maintain an up-to-date map of relevant policy stakeholders, regulatory timelines, and consultation processes across the team's priority areas.
Reporting & updates: Prepare internal progress reports and status updates for team leadership. Synthesise information from multiple workstreams into clear, actionable summaries.
Core Requirements
Must-have:
3–5 years of experience in project management, operations, or a chief-of-staff type role.
Demonstrable track record of managing complex, international, multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines.
Some exposure or strong interest in public policy, regulatory affairs, government, or a related field.
Exceptionally organised, with strong attention to detail and a habit of following things through.
Clear and concise professional communicator — in writing, in meetings, and in briefing documents.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Mastery of project management and productivity tools (e.g. Jira, Google Workspace, or similar) — you know how to build and maintain systems that actually get used.
Nice-to-have:
Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams.
Experience working with or in government, EU institutions, think tanks, trade associations, or advocacy organisations.
Familiarity with the EU regulatory landscape — particularly in digital policy, cybersecurity, AI, or data regulation.
Multilingual — additional European languages are a plus.
Practical experience of using AI tools to improve organisational tasks.
