The fastest ultrarunner of all time. He holds 6 world records on the track and road, from 100 km to 24-hour runs, in some cases having broken his own earlier records.

Aleksandr is the current holder of the 100 km world record, and he wants to beat it again. “Let’s do it again!” A. Sorokin says.

The 100 km run powered by Nord Security is an open national championship. The race track (50km, 50mi and 100km) is certified by World Athletics and approved by the International Association of Ultrarunners and the Athletics Federation of Lithuania. The event is organized by VšĮ Ultramarathon, the Athletics Federation of Lithuania, and the Vilnius Municipality. Check the event regulations here.
