Senior Channel Sales Engineer

What You Will Do

  • Align with key Channel and MSP Partners to better understand opportunities and support requirements;
  • Provide support for Partners and Customers;
  • Partner with Nord Security Product team stakeholders to help prioritize Product roadmap;
  • Cultivate relationships with aligned Partners and resources, especially Sales Engineering;
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services;
  • Support and participate in performing technical presentations for customers, and prospects, both remotely and in-person;
  • Develop and maintain expert understanding of all Nord Security applications and products;
  • Represent Nord Security at conferences, industry, and channel sales events;
  • Actively participate as a SME for Nord Security products and technologies.

What We Expect

  • 7+ years of experience serving in the capacity of a Sales Engineer in a data networking environment, or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership to the account team and engineers;
  • Ability to teach other members of the team;
  • Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams;
  • Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in all of the following areas of specialization: Networking & Routing with an understanding of Security Strategy;
  • Knowledge of the SASE and ZTNA frameworks;
  • Understanding of business drivers for enterprise business markets;
  • Demonstrates the ability to excel at communicating complex technical solutions and issues;
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills;
  • Some experience with project management and resource tracking desired;
  • Demonstrated ability to implement, drive and track projects;
  • Co-selling into large enterprise accounts.
