The Desktop Applications department is a collaborative team of passionate backend engineers focused on what can be done instead of what's been done. We build on each other's ideas to solve complex problems by using C#, .NET, SWIFT, Linux, and macOS technologies.

Our Linux application team is joining forces with talented engineers from Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Browser Extension to shape the future of cybersecurity. While closely collaborating with team members and the product owner, everyone is involved in defining requirements and crafting innovative cybersecurity features. The team is taking charge of propelling their tech stack to new heights, including enhancing their build system and optimizing package releases. Together, they’re revolutionizing the way security solutions are built and delivered.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to the development effort for NordLayer for Linux devices. This includes:
  • Interacting with our existing backend REST APIs; 
  • Providing feedback based on Linux needs; 
  • Working along backend and other platform teams; 
  • You will also coordinate with our Product Owner and QA/Support team to analyze our Linux apps and assist with debugging them;
  • Develop and update SDKs;
  • Stay up to date with cutting-edge tools to ensure the excellent quality of the code. It’s all about that code!;
  • Maintain an ability to port the application to different architectures and Linux devices.

Core Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience coding with Golang, C/C++, or Rust languages;
  • Extensive Linux development experience and knowledge of its concepts;
  • Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, concurrency, cgo, and limitations;
  • Writing robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code;
  • Knowledge of Git or other source control;
  • Experience in writing tests;
  • Linux networking knowledge - routing, firewall rules;
  • Interest in cybersecurity.

Salary Range

  • Gross Salary 16819 - 32857 PLN/month
