Head of Apps Engineering

Main Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Marketing, to align engineering goals with company strategy, prioritizing initiatives to ensure team efficiency and business alignment.
- Technical Oversight: Be involved with technical decisions, ensuring sound architectural choices and use of modern tools and practices.
- Budgeting and Resource Management: Manage the department's budget, including resource allocation and hiring decisions.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and directors within the apps engineering team.
- Project Management: Oversee complex, large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Establish and refine engineering processes to promote efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
Core Requirements
- Experience:- 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, managing large teams. Proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to identify, understand, and engage with cross-functional teams, ensuring their needs and expectations are met while aligning with organizational goals.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development processes, ideally with a background in App development. Experience with agile methodologies and modern tech stacks.
- Leadership Skills: Srong people management skills, including a focus on mentorship, development, and team building. Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and roadmap alignment with business objectives.

Salary range
- Starting salary from - 7600 Eur/Gross per month.
