Main Responsibilities
- Create and maintain periodic Business Intelligence dashboards for non-IT end users using Tableau. Ensure typography, data visualizations, and user experience are central, clearly outlining KPIs with visual graphics.
- Convert ad-hoc inquiries into visual and verbal answers, providing clear and concise insights.
- Participate in periodic data briefing meetings across teams, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.
- Analyze applications' data to extract actionable insights and present findings to interested stakeholders.
- Take care of data quality issues, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data used in analyses and reporting.
- Proactively evaluate the effectiveness of app features and provide insights to optimize user performance.
- Influence change in app features, UX, and overall decision-making processes in app development and purchasing flows.
- Engage with stakeholders effectively, managing their expectations and ensuring their requirements are met.
- Help shape and ensure the use of good practices in preparing data for using Tableau at the department level, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Leading complex data projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.
Core Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in a role as a data analyst or BI developer.
- Tableau Proficiency: Extensive experience with heavy Tableau usage over 3+ years.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge and proficiency in SQL ANSI.
- Big Data: knowledge of effective ways to deal with big amounts of transactional data.
- Statistical Analysis: Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and its applications.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written English skills for clear and effective communication.
- Presentation Skills: Very good presentation skills, effectively communicating complex data insights to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Demonstrated experience in analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data, along with researching information and solving problems.
- Design Thinking: Proficiency in design thinking, ensuring user-centric solutions.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and proactivity in all tasks.
Bonus Points For
- PySpark Experience: Proficiency in PySpark is a significant advantage.
- Tableau Certification: Possession of a Tableau certification is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Leading a small team of analysts would be considered as an advantage.
