Main Responsibilities
- Advise on Nord Security products and features, providing a business-oriented practical advice on their compliance with the consumer, marketing, and privacy laws;
- Support internal stakeholders with tailored and practical legal advice in your areas of expertise during the launch of new Nord Security products;
- Advise on various issues related to the consumer rights (consumer contracts’ terms, user purchase flows, auto-renewing subscriptions, mandatory information under consumer laws, display of prices, etc.);
- Provide legal input when implementing Nord Security marketing campaigns, advice on the content of Nord Security advertisements and other marketing materials (advertorial claims, use of copyrighted content, comparative advertising, etc.);
- Support internal stakeholders on various issues related to data protection requirements applicable to Nord Security’s personal data processing activities (privacy notices, data processing impact assessments, records of processing activities, data transfers, etc.);
- Monitor policy and legislative changes, case law, regulators’ guidelines and interpretations regarding consumer, marketing, and privacy laws across different Nord Security’s jurisdictions;
- Keep up with market developments, proactively contribute your ideas and work in close cooperation with other lawyers of the Marketing & Privacy Legal Team and various stakeholders at Nord Security. You will report to the Lead Marketing & Privacy Legal Counsel.
Core Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.);
- 4+ years of hands-on legal experience working on consumer, marketing, and privacy legal issues as an in-house counsel or in a law firm (experience with tech sector and certifications of privacy trainings would be an advantage);
- In-depth knowledge and keen demonstrated interest in consumer, marketing, and privacy laws, cybersecurity & related tech legal and policy issues;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Fluent in verbal and written English;
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Being a good team player, but also ability to work independently;
- Ability to adapt working in a diverse and international environment.
Salary Range
- Gross Salary 3310-5785 EUR/Month
